Don't Take Away Michael Jackson's Kids From The Loving Jackson Family
"It`s the moment from Michael Jackson`s memorial service that people are still talking about: daughter Paris-Michael, surrounded by her aunts and uncles, took the stage and proclaimed her daddy the "best father you could ever imagine."
In the coming months and years, 11-year-old Paris and her two brothers, Prince I, 12, and Prince II, 7, will have many adjustments to make without their famous father -- not the least of which may be growing up in a family in which their fair skin will noticeably set them apart.
Since Jackson`s death, the children have been staying with their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, at her Encino, Calif., estate. A judge granted her temporary custody, and she has filed to become the children`s permanent guardian."
ABC NEWS LUCHINA FISHER`s article is entitled: How Will Michael Jackson`s "White Kids" Get Along In A Black Family?
To Paris and her brothers Michael Jackson wasn`t an oddball celebrity or the world`s greatest entertainer, he was simply "Daddy." Some people may have ambiguous feelings about the King of Pop, but it`s evident that his children loved him to death.
After Paris proclaimed that her daddy was the "best father you could ever imagine", she fell into the arms of her aunt Janet Jackson. It`s evident that Michael`s children love their aunts and uncles.
To answer Fisher`s question, Michael Jackson`s white kids will get along very well in a black family. The King of Pop taught the whole world and his own children that it doesn`t matter if you`re white or black. Love transcends ethnicity, and Michael Jackson`s children are blessed to be part of a loving black family.
Let`s hope that Katherine Jackson becomes the children`s permanent guardian. It would be a horrible nighmare if Debbie Rowe, the biological mother of two of the Jackson children, is given custody. Rowe has admitted that she has no emotional attachment to the kids, and she would be a stranger to them.
Michael Jackson`s kids would be better off with their loving extended black family, than with their white biological mother who doesn`t have any feelings for them.
