At S&C, we are both humbled and honored to present the historic imagery of these masters of photography.  They are truly pioneers in their own right that documented and captured the essence of an entire generation and culture at its roots.  This partnership was four years in the making, built on respect, admiration and mutual dedication to preserving the history of Hip-Hop, " said Riccio, a former executive for global fashion & footwear brands.  Your browser may not support display of this image.

No one in the apparel & footwear industry is saluting the core of our culture with the heart, soul and integrity that Sedgwick & Cedar is, " said Rodriguez, a visual artist and Hip-Hop Connoisseur who began managing several of the photographer`s business affairs back in 2005.

The photo series collection of vintage tees, active wear, accessories and limited edition prints bearing the photographers timeless images are set to launch in Fall 2009 and promise to be, as Rodriguez puts it, Real collector`s items. " Original images of Hip-Hop pioneers, legendary graffiti art, New York`s unique urban landscape and the denizens who give it flavor will all be designed into the aesthetic of Sedgwick & Cedar clothing as part of a special platinum signature series by the photographers.  Rodriguez said, Each piece in this exclusive series represents the blood, sweat and years of three men who all share a very special connection to a culture that has moved the world.  Consumers will be able to own a real piece of history, not just a garment or an accessory.
