Newsweek's Cover Of Sarah Palin In Short Shorts: Mama Mia!
Newsweek (God Bless Them) has on its cover a sizzling hot pic of Sarah Palin in short shorts from her "Runners World" shoot.
I don`t care much for Sarah Palin`s political views, but girlfriend looks great in short shorts! I applaud Newsweek for their smoking cover, eye candy is a great way to get people to subscribe to their publication.
"The choice of photo for the cover of this week`s Newsweek is unfortunate. When it comes to Sarah Palin, this "news" magazine has relished focusing on the irrelevant rather than the relevant. The Runner`s World magazine one-page profile for which this photo was taken was all about health and fitness - a subject to which I am devoted and which is critically important to this nation. The out-of-context Newsweek approach is sexist and oh-so-expected by now. If anyone can learn anything from it: it shows why you shouldn`t judge a book by its cover, gender, or color of skin. The media will do anything to draw attention - even if out of context."
Sarah Palin (From her Facebook page)
Palin is none too pleased with Newsweek`s cover, she wants Americans to view her as a viable and credible presidential hopeful.
But a bimbo who imagines she is a foreign policy expert, because she can see Russia from her back porch doesn`t deserve to be taken seriously. Palin doesn`t have the gravitas to be dogcatcher of Wasillia -- the press should treat her as a celebrity, and not as a politician.
Newsweek`s cover is neither sexist or demeaning, it`s appropriate and fair.
