Is Pop Tart Paris Hilton A "Soulless Machine"?

By Robert Paul Reyes

SIR ANTHONY HOPKINS has taken aim at PARIS HILTON and the current crop of celebrity socialites, comparing them to soulless `machines."

The Silence of the Lambs actor is fed up with skinny models and stars on the red carpet who lack substance - and he`s singled out the heiress for appearing to have nothing `going on up there`.

`You look at fashion magazines and you think, `What are we living in?` You look at the red carpet, Paris Hilton, you know, these people and you think, `Is there anything going on up there?` It`s a mass enslavement and it`s kind of fascism. And it`s the androgyny of it; the androgyny of the human soul. I don`t think people think any more. But maybe I`m just old.`" Read More

Sir Anthony Hopkins is a film, stage and television actor. Hopkins is widely regarded as of the greatest living actors, he is best known for his portrayal of serial killer Hannibal Lecter in "The Silence of the Lambs."

Hopkins is a distinguished actor who puts his soul, sweat and guts into every role, and he`s outraged by stars like Paris Hilton who have the emotional range of a wilted cabbage.

Hopkins called Paris Hilton a "soulless machine", and indeed she reminds me of a robot when she walks with robotic precision down the red carpet, smiling and waving on cue.

Paris Hilton has no talent, she`s failed as an actress and a singer. She makes most of her money not from acting, singing or modeling, but by endorsing products and making appearances at private parties and nightclubs.

Hannibal Lecter would have no use for the likes of Paris Hilton, after a couple of minutes of chatting with her, he would probably kill her and eat her for brunch. (There`s not enough Paris Hilton for a full meal.)
