At the modest age of 33, Chester Moore Jr., founder of Project: Zoo Quest, is one of the most widely recognized and respected wildlife journalists, lecturers and field researchers in North America.

He has won more than 40 awards for his writing, photography and conservation efforts and published more than 3,000 articles on the subjects of wildlif and the outdoors. He is Executive Editor of Texas Fish & Game magazine and author of five top books, including his latest, Texas Waterfowl.

He has worked with big cats and has a special interest in jaguars and has worked with groups such as the Mote Marine Laboratory and Sea Grant for a shark tagging program that succesfully tagged hundreds of blacktip, spinner and Atlantic sharpnose sharks in the western Gulf of Mexico.
