My name is Hedy and I am a student at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.  I'm just starting to get into the thick of things with my journalism classes and even though it's getting tougher, it's getting a lot more fun!  I'm majoring in the editing track of journalism and I hope to someday an editor for an entertainment magazine.

I have been writing for as long as I can remember and when I was in high school I did yearbook.  We didn't have a newspaper at my school so yearbook was the only outlet for budding journalists.  My adviser chose me to be the editor-in-chief my senior year and that only fueled my desire to edit for a living.  I am looking forward to working with the SOP because I think it is an awesome place for young writers to get started!
