As a small child I never spoke very much. Not because I didn’t have anything to say. My mind simply didn’t give me a chance. I would observe people. Play out conversations in my head. Yet never actually have them. As I grew older keeping diaries and journals became the perfect outlet.
In high school I was able to take a journalism class. I also joined Future Business Leaders of America where I was the club journalist keeping track of our events. It was around this time that I realized writing is what I love. I want to bring enlightenment. Share my passion. Allow my heart to bleed onto paper.
So….that I might spread my joys and concerns…for this world and its inhabitants.
I love my country; I love our planet.
I see the way our world is. It has grown cold, distant. Many events have transpired. Each having a lasting and life-changing effect. I can see it. Even now, as I write with the fluent motion of my pen. This planet is changing. Some don’t notice it; others don’t care. I feel, I love. It’s my heart’s desire to wake the hearts and open the eyes of those who no longer see; nor feel.
How? With words.
There is beauty all around us. It deserves to be seen.
