Poor Christine O'Donnell: Public Access Station Forgets To Run Her Ad
"The campaign of Christine O`Donnell, the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Delaware, said a public access station `forgot` to run a 24-minute ad.
The O`Donnell campaign said the lengthy ad, which is styled after a documentary and touts the candidate`s connection with Delaware natives, was supposed to run Sunday night and Monday morning, but public access Channel 28 "forgot" to run the ad both times, The Washington Post reported Monday."
About twelve years ago when I started my career as a writer, I was interviewed on a cable public access station. I was thrilled to be on the air, and I told all my friends and family to watch me on TV. Half of my friends didn`t have access to the public access station, and the other half didn`t bother watching my interview.
For a politician to buy time on a public access station is a sign of desperation, it gives the electorate the impression that he or she isn`t a legitimate candidate.
Christine O`Donnell shouldn`t have made an issue of this incident; it`s made her an object of pity and ridicule.
Even a humble blogger like me wouldn`t deign to appear on a cable access station.
Let it go Christine, after you lose the election you can always seek employment at Fox News, they have a penchant for hiring attractive bimbos.
