UPS Bomb Plot: We Dodged A Bullet
"One of the al-Qaeda plane bombs from the Yemen discovered by security services was disarmed just 17 minutes before it was set to go off, it has emerged. Once again, in the nick of time, we averted disaster. It`s only a matter of time until everything goes right (from the terrorists perspective), and a plane blows up in the air, or a building is destroyed.
Scotland Yard explosives officers found a device hidden in a printer cartridge at East Midlands Airport around 2pm last Friday and another device was found in Dubai.

Thanks to the IRA British law enforcement officials have decades of experience, dealing with explosives, but they failed to find the bombs, and gave the all-clear at the airport.
Regardless how vigilant our homeland security personnel are, there will be another successful terrorist attack in this country, and we must be prepared to deal with the aftermath of the tragedy.
We must ensure that our emergency services and hospitals are prepared for the chaos of a major terrorist strike.
The Obama administration must have a plan in place to quickly strike back at the terrorist groups or countries behind the attack.
The American public must be psychologically ready for the reality that there will be another attack. When the next terrorist strike takes place, we must not give in to despair, but remain confident that ultimately we will defeat the enemies of democracy and freedom.
