Julian Assange is Not a Rapist: You're Just a Fool

By Inactive Writer

WikiLeaks co-founder and prime spokesman Julian Assange was arrested in London Tuesday on allegations that he engaged in "sex by surprise" with two women in Sweden. Assange pleads his innocence, saying the sex was consensual, but the real story to me is that one of those women may have ties to the CIA. Anna Ardin, one of the "victims," was a part of a feminist anti-Castro group during her time in Cuba called  "Las Damas De Blanco," or "The Ladies in White."

assangeForgetting that this woman may have ties to the CIA, allow me to pose an important question - what the hell is "sex by surprise?" This sounds like something Sweden just made up by surprise. We know that this ambiguous offense is supposedly a crime in Sweden, but it`s not a crime in the States or the UK. We also know Sweden`s rape laws: "A person who, by violence or threat involving or appearing to the threatened person as imminent danger, forces the latter to have sexual intercourse or to engage in a comparable sexual act, shall be sentenced for rape to imprisonment for at least two and at most six years. Rendering the person unconscious or otherwise placing the person in a similarly helpless state shall be regarded as equivalent to violence." This sounds right to me - a true rape is one of which some brutish a-hole forces his way upon a powerless woman, or, hey - one of which some brutish woman forces herself upon a powerless man. Yes, it happens both ways.

So, what exactly is "sex by surprise"? Did he jump out of a birthday cake in a thong? Did he stick it in the wrong hole? What exactly is going on here?

I`ll tell you what`s going on: The Swedish government is serving up a big, steaming pile of hefty BS, and we`re all able to get a big, strong whiff of it.

Don`t take this the wrong way - I think rape laws need to be completely overhauled worldwide, ESPECIALLY in the US. I think I can say this safely, because I currently have a father in jail for a rape he didn`t and couldn`t have committed and was put away with no physical evidence, period. You see, if you accuse a man of shooting you, the police would want to see a wound. He`d want evidence, right? If you say you were robbed by Joe Dick, the cop would want some hard evidence so he could put Joe Dick in jail and proceed accordingly. However, if you`re a woman and say that Joe Dick raped you, even if he didn`t, the police have to go and arrest him. I`m NOT saying all rapes are lies, because we have some sick, twisted and perverted men in this world - what I`m saying  is that if a woman is vindictive enough, she can have a man thrown in jail and even convicted with no physical evidence.

Enter Julian Assange - the freedom fighter that`s been vilified and targeted worldwide for releasing embarrassing information that world leaders just can`t handle. These people need a quick, easy way to detain him with as little effort as possible. "I know - we can accuse him of rape! I mean, come on - it`s not like we need PROOF or anything, right? Nah, people will for sure say that this is just a red herring, so why don`t we call it something other than rape, something ridiculously stupid like "sex by surprise" and not even explain what it means to his defense team? Boy, that`d be just the thing. Serves him right for exercising his right to freedom of speech and the press!"

It`s very sad that in this world, a man can be vilified enough to the point where he can be accused of something like rape and have enough mindless idiots already thinking he`s guilty. It`s also highly sad that the world isn`t ready for truth just yet. The US has proven that they`re not ready for civil rights and peace - look at the people we`ve assassinated and the wars we`ve fought. To me, this entire world is juvenile in a broad sense - we can`t even perform the basic functions of peace and justice yet. We`re going after a man for publishing the things that our media should have published long ago, but is too busy being fondled by corporations and dollar bills and publishing stories about the Kardashians and the latest celebrity news. We`re kids with beanie hats and melting popsicles dripping down our hands, and we will continue to be until we open our eyes and realize there`s more than what the idiots on Fox News and MSNBC are selling as truth.
