Gnarly Burglars Break-In To Prison And Steal Giant TV

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A New Zealand prison suffered a reversal of the norm when it became the victim of a break-in.

Police said Saturday that thieves had broken into the prison at New Plymouth, on the west coast of the North Island, just before midnight and stolen a large plasma television.

`If any members of the public saw anyone carrying a big TV at that time of night, or heard or saw anything in the area of the prison, let police know,` Sergeant Thomas McIntyre said."

I`m a hard-working law-abiding citizen, and I can`t afford a large plasma TV. If the TV was in a recreation room for the use of prisoners, it`s a rotten shame they are pampered. If the TV was in a lounge area for the guards, it`s no wonder that criminals were able to break into the prison. Bottom line: There shouldn`t be any damn large screen plasma TV`s in a prison.

These burglars must have family jewels the size of bowling balls, how many bad dudes can claim that they stole a TV from a prison?

I hope the burglars never get caught, and I hope that this embarrassing incident will result in the firing of prison staff.
