Would A Road Sign Depicting A Skeleton Scare You Into Obeying Speed Limit?

"New York City is resorting to images of skeletons to scare drivers into obeying its 30 mph speed limit."

UPI

It`s cruel and unusual punishment to force a driver to go 30 mph or less. It`s stressful driving 30 mph, and the only way I can relieve the stress is by exceeding the speed limit.

An image of a skeleton on a road sign might elicit a chuckle, but it won`t persuade me to slow down. Only a more graphic and explicit picture would convince me to obey the speed limit -- like a poster depicting Oprah Winfrey in a police uniform spanking a traffic scofflaw. Now that would scare me straight!

I`m with Sammy Hagar, I Can`t Drive 55, so don`t freakin` expect me to drive 30 mph

Go on & write me up for 125
Post my face, wanted dead or alive
Take my license n` all that jive
I can`t drive 55! Oh No! Uh!
