Saturday Smack Down at Tot Mom Murder Trial

Saturday Smack Down at Tot Mom Murder Trial

By Judyth Piazza CEO (Editor)

As court proceedings were set to begin in the tot mom murder trial Saturday morning, things came to a screeching halt as a result of a witness being called by the defense that had not properly been deposed by the prosecution prior to their testimony.

Judge Melvin Perry verbally reprimanded Jose Baez for not following procedure.  Judge Perry told Baez, Lightening never strikes twice, so there better be no more surprises. "  Today`s proceedings were supposed to begin with a discussion about a possible jury sequestration violation.

Another controversy that is gaining momentum is the seemingly flippant nature of the Anthony jury. Throughout the Casey Anthony murder trial, the jury has seemed uninterested in the case at times and more interested in where they are going to eat, special breaks and when the trial will be over.

One court spectator was quoted as saying that special breaks " is code for I need a smoke " and on more than one occasion laughter could be heard coming from the jury room.

Please stay tuned to The SOP News Network for breaking news in the Casey Anthony Tot Mom " murder trial....

Casey Anthony Trial: Is the Boat a Sinking Fast for the Prosecution? - The atmosphere in Courtroom 23A on Thursday was brittle, explosive; tense is a word that better resembles a euphemism, especially with regards to the veteran prosecuting attorney, Jeff Ashton.

Casey Anthony Trial: Cheney Mason Argues Elequently For Acquittal! - It occurred to me this morning, as I was making my coffee, that today, June 16th, marks the three year anniversary of when the State of Florida asserts Casey Anthony murdered her own daughter (Caylee Marie Anthony), by first poisoning her with chloroform, then applying three pieces of duct tape to her mouth and nose, thus suffocating the child to death.

Casey Anthony Trial: Why Did the Jury Request to See Exhibit Item 313? - On Tuesday the jury made a special request to see exhibit item 313. This is curious, because I wanted to see that very item myself. And this was before I had a chance to view Part 4 of WFTV 9`s video of the trial.

Casey Anthony Trial: A `Silence of the Lambs` Moment of Truth! - They thought to photograph them as well. But how is the State tying these stickers in with what FBI agent Elizabeth Fontaine testified on Monday? I`ve heard, some of the stickers are missing from the roll. Was one of these stickers applied to the henkel duct tape (by Casey) which was wrapped around little Caylee`s mouth and nose?

Casey Anthony Trial: Forensic Entomology and Ordinary Henkel Duct Tape! - A body is deposited at Point A. Some time passes by. Then the body is moved from Point A to Point B. Some more time passes by. Then the body is moved again from Point B to Point C, which becomes its final resting place, for six or seven months, anyway.
