Sarah Palin Lets Down Her Flock At Tea Party Rally
"There was only one thing that the 2,000 people who came from across the country to see Sarah Palin address a Tea Party rally Saturday wanted, and that was an announcement from her to run for president in 2012. Instead, they got a political speech that slammed President Obama."
The Daily Beast
Rumors had been circulating that Sarah Palin would finally make an announcement that she would run for president at the Tea Party rally on Saturday.
Pundits and bloggers knew that there was no such announcement forthcoming, the former half-term governor of Alaska frequently drops hints that she`s running to keep her brand name alive.
But Palin`s followers are true believers, and they are persuaded that the former beauty queen will prove the political prognosticators wrong and declare her candidacy for the nation`s highest office.
Sarah Palin devotees came from across the nation to hear their idol speak, and they dutifully and enthusiastically cheered and applauded.
The Palin supporters left the rally disappointed, but I`m sure their faith remains strong. They rationalize that their heroine is waiting for just the right time to make her announcement.
These deluded souls should read the story about Charlie Brown, Lucy and a football.
