Statue Of Hindu Goddess Sheds Tears
"Devotees are converging on a Bali school to see a statue of a Hindu goddess students say began shedding tears after an earthquake on the Indonesian island."
I`m not impressed by this so-called miracle, a deity shedding tears is a sign of weakness and impotence.
I`d be a bit more impressed if the so-called goddess got off her rear end, and rebuilt the houses destroyed by the earthquake.
It`s a tragedy that this gigantic statue stands in a place of honor on the grounds of a school -- religious superstition and education are incompatible.
It`s sad that ignorance and superstition still prevails, not only in Indonesia but in America.
