Bus Overturns, 22 Injured in Kashmir

Srinagar: At least 22 passengers were injured on Tuesday morning when a bus they were traveling skidded off the bridge and fell into a gorge in North Kashmir Bandipora District. Reports reaching to AIP said that a passenger bus due to slippery conditions overturned near Sumbal Area of Bandipora District resulting in injuries of 22 passengers.  SP Bandipora, Bashir Ahmed Khan told AIP, "A passengers Bus bearing No. JK-01D 0605) which was coming from Sadunara while crossing the Bridge overturned and fell into a gorge of 20-25ft resulting injuries of at least 22 persons." He further said that 11 passengers were referred to Srinagar`s JVC hospital and other hospitals for further treatment.
