FOX Moves "Touch" to Thursdays March 22

By Garrett Godwin

24`s Kiefer Sutherland and Heroes creator Tim Kring will not make their long-awaited return to Monday nights, as FOX announced that the premiere date for their series Touch has been pushed back from March 19 to March 22, with Bones now becoming the lead-in for the soon-to-be ending House when the former moves to Mondays starting April 2.

Touch stars Sutherland as the widowed father of a gifted, autistic son whose penchant for numbers gives him the ability to predict world events.

Last month, an estimated 11.87 million viewers tuned in to the sneak preview -- making Touch the second highest-rated drama opener of the 2011-12 season, with ABC`s Once Upon a Time in first with 12.79 million viewers; you can watch it online at either www.fox.com/touch or www.hulu.com/touch.

However, Sutherland will be going up against CBS` freshman smash Person of Interest with Jim Caviezel and Michael Emerson about a reclusive billionaire and a former CIA agent teaming up to prevent violent crimes in New York with the help of "the Machine", who gives them social security numbers of people who are either in trouble ... or causing it.

In other words, you might say that Caviezel`s John Reese could be picking up where Jack Bauer left off.
