Mary Hardison, 101, Sets Guinness World Record For Oldest Paraglider

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Guinness World Records announced a 101-year-old Utah woman has been named the Oldest Female to Paraglide Tandem.

The record-keeping organization said Mary Allen Hardison of Ogden, went tandem paragliding with a Cloud 9 Paragliding Company instructor as part of her 101st birthday celebration."

"I feel very humble in setting a new Guinness World Record", the great-great grandmother declared. Hardison should be humble, she was nothing but dead weight on the back of the paragliding instructor. The sweet old lady might deserve a measure of praise for not fainting, but the instructor deserves all the credit for managing to steer the contraption with Hardison on his back.

If Mike Tyson manages to win a boxing match we yours truly strapped to his back, the former heavyweight champ is the one who deserves all of the praise.

Hardison`s friends and family may pretend that she accomplished a significant feat, but I keep it as real as a heart attack .Hardison should just be proud that she`s still alive and kicking, and beloved by all her children, and grandchildren.
