Outrage: 'Hangover Heaven' Bus Cruises Las Vegs Strip In Search Of Drunks

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Over the weekend, he ( anesthesiologist Jason Burke) launched a service for imbibers: a bus that cruises the Strip Saturdays and Sundays to cure the hung-over. Among the planned stops: Paris Las Vegas, the Bellagio and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

`Hangover Heaven` offers IV therapy to rehydrate partiers. Anti-nausea medicine and vitamin treatments also are offered.
Patients can purchase "Redemption" - $130 ($90 introductory offer) - which uses IV fluids alone. Or they can add the nausea and vitamin therapy (Salvation, $150 intro offer). `It works,` Burke says. Treatment takes a half-hour to 45 minutes."

Burke charges an arm and a leg for his "Hangover Heaven" services, if somebody is drunk like a skunk in Vegas it`s probably because he lost all his money at a casino or he was rolled by a hooker, so where the hell ls he going to get any money to pay this quack?

I`m of the opinion that if somebody gets so drunk that they get a hangover, they deserve to be miserable for a couple of hours. A physician shouldn`t be enabling alcoholics by easing their hangover woes.

I hope that the "Hangover Heaven" bus gets run off the road by a drunk driving an 18-wheeler.
