Syntax: The word "syntax" refers to rules that allow for a language system to establish its grammar structure. Syntax is used in not just cultural and spoken languages, but also in computer and other electronic-based languages that enable systems, computers, platforms, operating systems, and protocols to communicate successfully.

Syntax helps the language to not only define itself, but to also know when something lies outside of itself. Through syntax, one can determine if a word or concept applies and can exist in a given language system.
