"Think Like a Man" ends "Hunger Games" Four-Week Box Office Reign

By Garrett Godwin

This weekend, audiences were learning how Think Like a Man rather than enter The Hunger Games again, as the former becoming the new box office champion with $33 million.

Based on Steve Harvey`s best-selling book, the film features an all-star cast that includes Taraji P. Henson, Gabrielle Union, Michael Ealy, Kevin Hart, and even Harvey himself, who`s currently the host of Family Feud, and is now in the process of developing his own daytime talk show.

Still, audiences were interested in Nicholas Sparks, as The Lucky One with Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling debuted in second place with $22.8 million.  Like The Notebook and Dear John, it is another romantic adaptation based on Sparks` novel.

After four weeks at the top, The Hunger Games drops to third with $14.5 million, but already passed the $350 million mark, with a sequel currently underway.
