Scottish Lady Dies Ten Minutes After Turning 100
"A Scottish woman whose friends said had been determined - since turning 90 - to live 100, achieved her goal, but then died 10 minutes into the big day.
Agnes Allison McNaughton`s family had planned a big party Wednesday afternoon and decided to hold it as a celebration of her life, The Scotsman reported. McNaughton died at 12:10 a.m. at the nursing home where she lived in Paisley outside Glasgow."
When you are confined to a nursing home, your goals have to be very modest. Dear old Allison`s only dream was to live to be 100. Allison enjoyed achieving her goal for ten minutes, and then she slipped into eternity.
Allison`s family had planned a big party to celebrate her 100th birthday, instead the party was used to celebrate and honor her life.
Allison was a blessed lady, she still had friends and family who cared about her; I wonder if anybody will still be around who cares about me if I live to such an advanced age?
I hope Allison is enjoying a birthday cake made from manna.
