"While prefacing a question for Mitt Romney about Pakistan during Monday`s presidential debate on foreign policy, moderator Bob Schieffer had an unfortunate slip of the tongue, referring to Osama bin Laden as "Obama bin Laden.`"
Who can blame Schieffer for his slip of the tongue, he`s not the first, nor will he be the last, pundit or politician who has confused the two.
In the aftermath of the killing of Osama many journalists, including Keith Olbermann, Norah O`Donnell, and Geraldo Rivera, reported that "Obama" had been killed.
Osama and Obama have a lot in common:
*Osama is physically dead and Obama is politically dead.
*They were both born outside the United States.
*They both seem to despise Israel.
*They are both tall, although we don`t know if Osama had a penchant for playing basketball.
If Obama didn`t cater and pander so much to Muslim leaders, maybe he wouldn`t be mistaken for Osama.
When Obama loses the election, I`m sure that more than one reporter will declare that Osama lost.
