Honey Boo Boo Child & Greta Garbo Have A Lot In Common

By Robert Paul Reyes

Greta Garbo: I want to be left alone

Honey Boo Boo: My fans come up to me and I hate it

Greta Garbo was a screen legend, and she was idolized in her native country of Sweden, as well as in America, and throughout the world. But the movie icon grew so weary of the pressures of fame, that she finally uttered her most famous line: I want to be left alone.

A prophet is not without honor, except in her own town, Honey Boo Boo may have plenty of detractors in her home town of McIntyre, Georgia, but she has millions of fans in America.

Garbo and Honey Boo Boo have a lot in common, Garbo`s movies had subtitles for obvious reasons and Honey Boo Boo`s reality show has subtitles so that viewers can decipher her redneck dialogue.

Honey Boo Boo has dozens of famous lines including of course: You Betta Redneckognize. Garbo would have had more famous lines if she had made more talkies. In her first speaking role she uttered the classic line: Give me a whiskey, ginger ale on the side, and don`t be stingy, baby.

Greta grew weary of fame and retired early, Honey Boo Boo is already fed up with her fans, and it wouldn`t be surprising if she retired at the tender age of seven.

Let`s appreciate the artistry, charm and charisma of Honey Boo Boo, but for God`s sake give her some breathing room.
