Fashionista Alert! Postal Service To Launch Trendy Clothing Line

"The cash-strapped Postal Service announced Tuesday that it has inked a licensing deal with an Ohio-based clothing company to produce a line of apparel dubbed "Rain Heat & Snow.` The attire aims to reach well beyond T-shirts and baseball caps to include "wearable electronics` -- like jackets with iPod controls built into the sleeve, USPS spokesman Roy Betts explained to Yahoo News."

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night can stop you from your appointed rounds at the hottest clubs where you can show of your fashionista postal gear, at least that`s what the Postal Service is hoping.

What hipster dude wouldn`t want to look like that chump from Cheers, Cliff Craven? The postal service is an anachronism, and no dude would want to wear any apparel bearing the logo of the post office.

The only one who looks forward to the mailman in my house is my dog, she loves terrorizing the chump. And the only ones looking forward to the postal service line of apparel are fashion-challenged geeks.

There is nothing hip about the postal service, you don`t have to be a rocket scientist or fashion designer to predict that the postal line of apparel will be a colossal flop.

What`s next, an IRS fashion line? Please!
