Judyth Piazza Chats With Dr. Barbara Baggerly-Hinojosa on The American Perspective About Leadership

By Judyth Piazza CEO (Editor)

Radio talk show host and journalist, Judyth Piazza and Dr. Barbara Baggerly-Hinojosa discuss the importance of leadership in the 21st century on The American Perspective Radio Program.

Barbara Baggerly-Hinojosa, Ph.D. teaches students in the Rio Grande Valley about being a servant leader.  She wants to empower her students to reach for their goals as well as prepare them for their future.

During the interview Judyth asked Dr. Hinojosa, "What is something one of your mentors may have said to you that you always remember to pass on to your students? Her response, "Leadership is really about relationships with other people.  It is very hard to lead others who do not know you or who do not trust you.  In order to really gain trust, people have to really know who you are."

Judyth asks, "When you look in the mirror, what do you see?

"I see a busy woman, a mother.  I see a lot of things I am doing heading towards the same goal."

Dr. Baggerly-Hinojosa is the author of three published books on leadership: Are You a Ten?, Eres un Diez?, and The Leadership Collection
