Video! Some Thrilled, Some Terrified By Giant Ice Balls On Shores Of Lake Michigan

"People in Michigan are enjoying a very cool winter sight.

Massive ice balls are washing ashore. They are created when pieces of ice break away from ice floes in the lake and are rounded off by waves.


Thousands of them have piled up near Good Harbor Bay where they have become quite an attraction for local residents and tourists."

Anybody who is a fan of the Weather Channel has witnessed some weird and astounding weather phenomenon: Dust storms, hail showers, blizzards, tornadoes, hurricanes...

But massive ice balls washing ashore has an apocalyptic feel, it`s as if Mother Nature has serious issues and she`s hurling everything at us, except for the kitchen sink.

Local residents and tourists think the humongous ice balls are cool and fun, but if I lived in Michigan I`d be afraid that next Mother Nature will be bowling giant balls of fire down the highways and byways.
