Man, 90, Saves Woman, 19, From Drowning: Video

"A 90-year-old man who jumped into a Netherlands river to rescue a 19-year-old woman who fell from a dock said it was lucky the woman was "not too fat.` "



The old man said he spotted a woman in the water next to a dock and jumped into the river to pull her out.

If I were that old I would think twice about jumping into a river. I would be afraid that my pacemaker would short circuit and that my adult diapers would get soggy.

It`s indeed fortunate that the woman wasn`t fat, or she would have pulled the old man to a watery grave.

Kudos to the old-timer for his courage and quick thinking.

Not all old folks have the energy or courage to save someone`s life. Here`s a 90-year-old man, and the best he can manage is a two-step dance with a cane:
