Obama's 'Insider Threat Program' Emblematic Of White House Corruption

By Robert Paul Reyes

"In an initiative aimed at rooting out future leakers and other security violators, President Barack Obama has ordered federal employees to report suspicious actions of their colleagues based on behavioral profiling techniques that are not scientifically proven to work, according to experts and government documents.

The techniques are a key pillar of the Insider Threat Program, an unprecedented government-wide crackdown under which millions of federal bureaucrats and contractors must watch out for "high-risk persons or behaviors` among co-workers. Those who fail to report them could face penalties, including criminal charges.

Obama mandated the program in an October 2011 executive order after Army Pfc. Bradley Manning downloaded hundreds of thousands of documents from a classified computer network and gave them to WikiLeaks."

The Insider Threat Program perfectly illustrates the Modus operandi of the Obama regime: Circumvent Congress and keep things on the down low.

Obama fancies himself a philosopher king who has a divine right to rule by executive decree; he has a penchant for using executive orders to implement his agenda.

Where did the Obama administration get their inspiration for their ill-thought out Insider Threat Program, the Communist Manifesto?

Under the old Soviet Union employees were encouraged to spy and rat on their fellow workers. Human nature being what it is, many workers reported their colleagues to the Communist party for venial reasons: Jealousy or animosity.

There is a bright side to The Insider Threat Program; maybe if federal employees are busy spying on each other, they will have less time to make life miserable for the rest of us.

The actions of Bradley Manning and Edward Snowden have exposed the systematic and ruthless ways in which the federal government is trampling our civil liberties.

What we really need is an Infiltration Freedom Program that places patriots like Snowden in sensitive jobs in the CIA, FBI, and any government agency for that matter.
