Portuguese Court: Drinking On The Job Can Be Beneficial

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A Portuguese court ruled a waste management company must rehire an employee it fired for drinking wine on the job, saying drinking could be good for work.

The waste management company fired an employee in 2012 after he and a driver were involved in an accident.

Both were found to have alcohol in their systems and were fired."

It`s sad that we have to go all the way to Portugal to find a court decision that makes sense.

This dude who was fired for drinking on the job works for a waste management company collecting trash all day long --who can blame him for drinking wine?

A lot of Americans work in coma-inducing jobs in the cubicle jungle, and the least their employees can do is look the other way when they light up a doobie in the break room.

"With alcohol, the worker can forget about life`s hardships and be more committed to collecting trash", the ruling said.

Amen and Amen!
