Only 6 People Enrolled in Obamacare On First Day: Obamacare Fiasco! Video!
"For 31 days now, the Obama administration has been telling us that Americans by the millions are visiting the new health insurance website, despite all its problems.
But no one in the administration has been willing to tell us how many policies have been purchased, and this may be the reason: CBS News has learned enrollments got off to an incredibly slow start.
The website launched on a Tuesday. Publicly, the government said there were 4.7 million unique visits in the first 24 hours. But at a meeting Wednesday morning, the war room notes say six enrollments have occurred so far."
For weeks the Obama administration has stubbornly refused to release how many people have enrolled in Obamacare.
Now we know why... In the first day that healthcare.gov was open for business only six individuals were able to enroll in the discredited and despised Affordable Care Act. These "lucky" enrollees are the same folks who make thousands of phone calls when a radio station announces that throughout the day they will be awarding free Miley Cyrus concert tickets to six "lucky" callers.
I can understand why almost five million people visited the Obamacare Web site in the first 24 hours; the Obamacare Girl who graced the front page of healthcare.gov was a vision of innocence and trustworthiness. But now that the Obamacare Girl has gone into hiding, good luck attracting any more visitors.
Everyone from President Obama to Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius to the lowest lackey in the Obama administration has been telling us that healthcare.gov is glitchy , and that the public needs to be more patient.
That`s like the captain of the Titanic advising the passengers that the ill-fated luxury liner has encountered minor navigational problems, but that smooth sailing is on the horizon.
Healthcare.gov isn`t glitchy it`s a fiasco, a failure of biblical proportions, and maybe that`s a good thing because it`s a portal to hell: Obamacare!
