Detroit TV Reporter Drops 'F-bomb' Live: Video
"A WDIV-TV news reporter in Detroit apparently unwittingly dropped the "F-bomb` on-air while having equipment issues while covering a fire.
When station news anchors segued to Lauren Podell for a live report from the scene of the fire, the reporter, apparently frustrated by technical difficulties and not realizing her mic was turned on, could be heard cursing, "I don`t know when we`re going, neither does Jim, I can`t get this [expletive] in there!"
We`ve all dropped the F-bomb at work, after suffering trials great and small: Getting a paper cut or accidentally deleting a report that took hours to complete.
But when we utter an expletive it isn`t heard by thousands of people, and a professional TV reporter should always assume that her mic is live.
Podell should learn not to sweat the small stuff, technical difficulties are small potatoes compared to a raging fire that consumed a city block.
My Take? Fire the fu***** amateur!
