Adam Muema: God Told Me to Leave NFL Combine Without Working Out: Video

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Running back Adam Muema left the NFL scouting combine Sunday because he says God told him to do so.

`Muema, a former star at San Diego State, told U-T San Diego on Sunday that he was  `following God` by deciding not to work out.

Muema said God told him he would play for the Seattle Seahawks-- his "dream` -- if he skipped the combine."

The NFL Scouting Combine is a week-long showcase occurring every February where college football players perform tests of physical and mental agility in front of NFL coaches, general managers, and scouts.

An NFL team is going to be hesitant to pick player in the draft who skipped the combine, even the hottest prospects like Johnny Manziel perform at this crucial showcase.

Muema has demonstrated mental instability by blowing off the combine; I`d be surprised if the Super Bowl champions Seattle Seahawks give this character the time of day.

Muema is a talented running back, but if he doesn`t stop listening to those voices in his head he`s going to end up playing for the Arena Football League.
