Watch Kayden Kinckle,2, Take His First Steps Using Prosthetics!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Kayden Kinckle is an inspirational 2-year-old. He`s a double amputee who recently took his first steps using prosthetics.

He started out shakily, but soon began counting his steps and telling his mother repeatedly "`I got it!" The little cutie has been through far too much in his two short years on earth, but nothing has killed his happy demeanor and spirit.

When Kayden was born, both of his legs were deformed due to his condition, as an amniotic band had wrapped around them while he was still developing."

When I see a video featuring a baby or a toddler, the first thought that comes to my mind is: How dare the parents think their video can compete with those featuring kittens or cats? Suffice to say that I find baby videos cloying and annoying, but even this cynical blogger had to wipe tears from his eyes when he saw Kayden`s video.

It`s amusing and heartwarming to watch any baby take his first steps, but watching this toddler take his first steps using prosthetics is inspirational and life-affirming.

I wouldn`t be surprised if Kayden is running marathons when he`s a teen, and changing the world for the better when he`s an adult.

You go Kayden!
