UFO Invasion of Portsmouth a Hoax! Pranksters Come Forward: Video

"THE creators of a UFO hoax who set social media buzzing have come clean.

Several images of an unidentified object hovering over Portsmouth did the rounds last week, sparking speculation that the city could be the landing site of an invasion of green-skinned aliens.

The photos were faked in a publicity stunt to draw attention to an upcoming science fiction and fantasy festival."

The News

You don`t have to be a rocket scientist to fool people into believing they saw a UFO. Just throw some glowing Frisbees into the night sky, and before long social media will be abuzz with speculation about a UFO invasion, and your local news with be giving you updates about the UFO terror.

The Portsmouth UFO story was created by a group of young people trying to draw attention to their upcoming science fiction and fantasy festival. They took pictures at the same time on the same evening in different spots in Portsmouth and then digitally added a UFO to the images.

Even though the pranksters have stepped forward, some UFO true believers are still going to be persuaded that extraterrestrial spacecraft are hovering over Portsmouth. They will dismiss the young pranksters as government agents trying to spread disinformation.
