Moral Outrage: Sarah Palin Posts Photo on Facebook of Trig Standing on Family Dog! Video!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin responded Saturday to PETA`s accusations of animal cruelty by going on offense against the animal rights group.

The accusations followed her Facebook post on New Year`s Day that featured a photo of her son, Trig, standing on top of the family dog (named Jill Hadassah) in order to help clean the dishes.

Palin`s response starts off snarky, and proceeds into, well, attack dog territory pretty quickly.

`Dear PETA, Chill. At least Trig didn`t eat the dog`, Palin wrote. She then proceeds to attack President Barack Obama for having revealed he actually enjoyed eating dead dog meat."

Responsible parents will teach their children to treat pets with dignity and respect, even a child afflicted with Down syndrome can and should be taught that a dog is a living creature and not a step stool.

For Sarah Palin to post on Facebook the photograph of Trig abusing the family dog is nothing short of glorifying animal abuse. There is nothing cute or adorable about a little boy standing on a dog.

Palin`s snarky reply that at least "Trig didn`t eat the dog " is a well-deserved rebuke of Obama. In his memoir "Dreams of my Father ", Obama recalls eating dog meat as a child in Indonesia, without bothering to criticize the barbaric practice. If you mention that you ate dog meat as a child without condemning the practice, you are implying there`s nothing wrong with serving Fido for dinner.

Obama is too politically-correct to castigate the Indonesians for eating dog meat, and Palin is too retarded to realize that posting a photograph of her son abusing the family dog is wrong on so many levels.
