Judyth Piazza interviews Brooklyn Based Artist Allison Dayka

By Judyth Piazza CEO (Editor)

Allison Dayka is a 24 year old artist and designer.  Born and raised in Upstate, New York; she developed a life long dedication to art and fashion.  Following her graduation, Allison moved to Brooklyn to pursue  a degree in Communications and more importantly care for her Great Aunt. It was during this difficult time that Allison discovered her ability to express her inner most emotions through paint strokes on a canvas.

Though the stage was already set with both her Aunt and Grandfather being successful artists. Allison feels compelled and inspired to carry on the family tradition. Her Aunt Andrea focuses on pottery using bold colors, intricate details and contrast to distinguish herself,  while her grandfather focused on realism.  One can see the fusion of their work in her pieces.

As a Brooklyn based artist, Allison works with acrylic and mixed media on canvas. Her competitive advantage is her ability to create custom works that stand the test of time. And her passion is creating art for all generations, in hopes that they can relate and appreciate fine art in a world where everything is now digital.
