Medical Marijuana for Dogs and Cats?
"Legislation introduced in the state Senate (Nevada) on Tuesday would allow pets to use pot under a veterinarian`s supervision.
Democratic Sen. Tick Segerblom, the sponsor of SB 372, says there are guidelines, even for Fido: Officials would be able to issue a pet medical marijuana card only if the animal`s owner is a Nevada resident and a vet certifies the creature has an illness that might be helped by marijuana. And the illness need not be fatal."

Medicinal marijuana for Fido? You may be wondering what they`re smoking in the Nevada Senate, but actually it`s high time this bill was passed.
If you are anally-retentive this news is proof that Nevada is going to the dogs, or going to pot. My pooch Mandy is young and healthy, but I`m sure she wouldn`t frown on the recreational use of marijuana. My cats, Tico and Ebony, are already addicted to catnip, I don`t want to get them started on weed.
Medicinal marijuana for humans and pets should be legal in all 50 states, let`s hope that other states will follow the fine example of Nevada.
