"A quartet of Swedish police officers visiting New York were caught on camera breaking up a subway fight on their way to see a Broadway musical.
Stockholm police officers Erik Naslund, 26, Samuel Kvarzell, 25, Makrus Asberg, 25, and Eric Jansberger, 28, were on the northbound 6 train at the Bleecker Street stop Wednesday just before 5 p.m. when the conductor came over the loudspeaker and asked if any police officers were on board the train.
The men responded to the adjoining train car to break up a fight between two homeless men."
The Swedish police officers could have said to themselves "this isn`t our jurisdiction", and ignored the call over the loudspeaker asking if any cops were on board the train.
But these brave and conscientious officers responded to the call and broke up a fight between two homeless men.
I hope they weren`t on their way to see " West Side Story", because they already experienced that on their subway ride to Broadway.
