"The red-haired pixie playing a tambourine in the background of many a Partridge Family musical number has died. Suzanne Crough, a.k.a. Tracy Partridge, the youngest daughter of a TV clan that generated a slew of hits in the 1970s, died this week at 52 in Nevada."

The Partridge Family was a successful sit-com in the early 70`s. The premise of the show was that musically-talented siblings convinced their widowed mother to help them out by singing as they record a pop song in their garage. Their song becomes a pop hit, and they embark on a magical mystery tour on a psychedelic school bus.
The show was a huge success because it featured Shirley Jones, the Mother of all MILF`s, David Cassidy, a teen heartthrob and real life pop star, and Susan Dey, whose wooden acting didn`t detract from her drop dead good looks.
Suzanne Crough played Tracy Partridge; her only responsibilities were to play a tambourine in the musical numbers, and to look adorable.
RIP Tracy Partridge you always looked cute, and you played the hell out of the tambourine.
