Hooters Waitress Donates Kidney to Customer

By Robert Paul Reyes

"As a Hooters waitress in Roswell, Georgia, Marianna Villareal makes her living serving customers, but what she did for a longtime patron last week may have saved his life.

`Today is the big day,` Villareal posted on her Instagram account Friday, just before she donated one of her kidneys to Donald Thomas, a customer she said she met just three months earlier.

Villareal and Thomas became friends about the same time her own grandmother was going through a similar medical issue, but I wasn`t able to help her and it will forever be in my heart, Villareal said."

Not all Hooters waitresses are vapid young women with a penchant for bouncing their hooters in hopes of enticing their customers to leave huge tips.

Marianna Villareal may have huge breasts, but she also has a huge heart. She donated her kidney to a customer she met just three months earlier.

The customer isn`t a handsome young lawyer or doctor that she wished to impress; he`s an elderly Vietnam War veteran.

God bless Marianna, she can certainly teach all of us a thing or two about compassion and sacrifice. I hope she has a long, healthy and successful life, and I pray that her customer will enjoy a few more years of health and happiness.
