Hillary Clinton Using Social Media to Try to Soften Her Image! Good Luck With That!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Hillary Clinton, who launched her presidential campaign in April via YouTube, is once again harnessing the power of the Internet to make a very important announcement: She loves her granddaughter.

The former First Lady and Secretary of State launched her Instagram account on Wednesday. The accompanying biography for the account was a curious mix of personal and political.

`Doting grandmother, among other things,` the bio reads, followed by the hashtag #Hillary2016 and a link to her campaign page."

The Wrap

Hillary`s handlers face the impossible task of trying to soften her image, it would be easier to reinvent the Wicked Witch of the West as a loving and doting grandmother who loves babies, puppies and butterflies.

Hillary has a well-deserved reputation as a political animal who won`t let anything get in the way of her political aspirations. Bill may have the persona of a loveable rascal, but Hillary is perceived as a humorless witch.

Clinton`s Twitter bio reads: Wife, mom, grandma, women kids advocate, FLOTUS, Senator, SecState, hair icon, pantsuit aficionado, 2016 presidential candidate.

Her Facebook bio reads: Wife, mom, grandma, lawyer, women & kids advocate, FLOAR, FLOTUS, US Senator, SecState, author, dog owner, hair icon, pantsuit aficionado, glass ceiling cracker, 2016 presidential candidate.

Anybody familiar with social media sites knows that we should read online bios with a grain of salt, especially those of politicians.

Hillary`s online bio should read: Enabler wife of a serial sexual predator, ruthless lawyer, one-term senator who didn`t accomplish anything of significance, former Secretary of State responsible for the death of Americans in Libya, one-percenter who think she`s entitled to be the President of the United States.

Hillary is intent on using social media to soften her image. All I can say is: Good Luck with that!
