Honey Boo Boo Drops New Music Video! Redneck Apocalypse is Nigh!

By Robert Paul Reyes

When TLC cancelled Here Comes Honey Boo Boo because matriarch Mama June was knocking cowboy boots with a convicted child molester, we thought we had seen the last of Honey Boo Boo and her dysfunctional redneck clan.

But Honey Boo Boo is back, and starring in a brand new music video produced by viral video star Adam Barta, who has in the past worked with such luminaries as Tan Mom and Octomom.

We have a new chapter in this redneck Horatio Alger story, but will Honey Boo Boo parlay her fame as a reality star into a music sensation?

When we first met Honey Boo Boo she was a precocious impossibly cute hillbilly toddler, but she has ballooned into an obese child with no social skills, and she`s totally bereft of musical ability.

Honey Boo Boo`s single Movin` Up chronicles her family`s ascension from unknown Georgia rednecks to reality TV rednecks who are a national laughingstock.

Sample lyrics:

I`m just a small town girl,

Living in my princess world,

When rainy days give me the blues,

I break out my dancing shoes.

Started out as a pageant queen.

Then on TV doin` my thing.

You don`t have to be a rocket scientist or a pop culture critic to realize that a humongous redneck 10-year-old girl bastardizing the rap genre isn`t going to become a pop sensation.

If Honey Boo Boo`s song becomes a hit I will don a hillbilly straw hat, put on some overalls, and jump off a cliff.
