Outrage: Japanese Company Sells Sliced Chocolate

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A Japanese chocolate company has begun selling chocolate in thick, individually wrapped slices.

Tokyo based chocolate company Bourbon has begun to sell packets of sliced nama chocolate resembling packets of sliced cheese.

The slices are about .08 inches thick and can be molded in a variety of different ways."

Chocolate is a delicacy and it is enjoyed one morsel at a time, one simply does not stuff an entire chocolate candy bar in his mouth, an aficionado of this heavenly treat will savor the bar one bite at a time.

There is something grotesque and obscene about selling chocolate by the slice, it cheapens the product. Selling chocolate by the slice will accelerate the obesity epidemic, do you think the likes of Oprah Winfrey or Rosie O`Donnell will be able to restrain themselves from eating sandwiches consisting of five slices of chocolate and a dab of mayonnaise?

Only in Japan and in the fiery pit of hell will you see anyone consuming chocolate by the slice.
