"Meet Olly, the grim-faced feline refusing to leave his spot on a supermarket shelf in a local Sainsbury`s in South London.
The cat reportedly belongs to the people who live next door, according to Georgios Michalaris, deputy manager of the supermarket, who spoke to Mashable. Staff have tried to remove the stubborn animal in the past, but he just keeps coming back."
Cat owners know that their precious pets have a stubborn streak, nothing can dissuade them form their desired objective.
I tried to everything to keep my 25-pound cat, Tico, from sitting on top of my futon`s mattress, but every time I picked up my fat kitty from his favorite perch and set him on the floor, he jumped right back on top. I finally gave up, and now my futon mattress is permanently caved in on the left side that he favors.
Supermarket employees have thus far been unable to persuade Olly to leave his favorite spot on a supermarket shelf. Olly has an intimidating expression, and the employees would be well-advised to leave him alone.
Never mind health regulations or complaints from cat haters, nothing can dislodge Olly from his favorite place, and he should be allowed to stay as the store mascot.
