Newest Internet Celebrity: Felix the Cat Who Lives in a British Train Station

By Robert Paul Reyes

"She`s so famous she needs to start watching out for the cat-arrazzi.

Felix the Huddersfield Railway Station cat has gone global following the news in the Examiner of her promotion to Senior Pest Controller this week.

The moggy is giving famous felines Grumpy Cat and Garfield a run for their money, as she hits the headlines in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Netherlands.

Felix has seen her Facebook followers more than double in the past few days, with swaithes of adoring international fans posting on her wall."

The Huddersfield Daily Examiner

Felix, the cat was brought to the train station five years ago to catch mice at the age of only nine weeks old, she has now been promoted to Senior Pest Controller.

Now that she`s in management Felix gets to wear a reflective vest and a name badge.

Her new status hasn`t gone to Felix`s head, she stills goes about her daily routine of catching and killing mice.

Felix the cat`s popularity on the Internet has grown following her promotion, but she still has a long way to go to reach the heights of Internet glory achieved by the likes of Grumpy Cat.

If Felix wants to earn Internet immortality she needs to don a conductor`s hat and drive a damn train.

Why is a female cat named Felix? Perhaps a quicker route to fame would be for Felix came out as a transgender cat.
