Australian Police Officer Adopts Baby Kangaroo

By Robert Paul Reyes

"An orphaned baby kangaroo turned over to Australian police was given a new home with a constable.

The Cue Police Station in Western Australia said the orphaned joey was turned over to police March 9 after its mother was struck and killed by a large truck."

This story is more heartbreaking than Bambi, but the future is bright for the baby kangaroo, he will be released into the wild when he`s one-year-old.

Constable Mason is the perfect foster parent for this cute critter, he`s a former paramedic and has animal husbandry experience.

After tender loving care at the hands of constable Mason, I`m sure the kangaroo isn`t going to turn into a hooligan who breaks into fights with other kangaroos on suburban streets after being released into the wild.
