Outrage: Saudi Cleric Issues Fatwa Against Cat Pics

By Robert Paul Reyes

"A cornerstone of Western Culture "photos of cats "had apparently eluded a Saudi cleric until very recently. Upon learning of the increasing fondness for feline photography in Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Saleh Bin Fawzan Al-Fazwan issued an edict that Muslims not take unnecessary photos. Not with cats, not with dogs, not with wolves, not with anything."

In Western Civilization cats rule the Internet, we just can`t get enough of feline videos and pics. Our adoration of cats is the glue that binds our ethnically and religiously diverse democracy.

A Saudi cleric has struck at the heart of our democracy, not by issuing a Fatwa against the Bible, freedom of speech or Western pop songs, but by issuing an edict against Muslims taking pics of their kitty cats.

Americans can`t be unequally yoked with cat haters; Islam and the West are destined to be implacable enemies.

How can we break bread with infidels who abhor kitty cats? How can we make common cause with monsters who abhor cats?

There is something inherently wrong with a religion that doesn`t worship cats. Period, end of story!
