The Best Church Sign -- Ever!

By Robert Paul Reyes

"Church signs are an art form " one that takes skill, patience and a bare minimum of physical stamina to master.

Still, when it`s hot out, it`s hot out, and changing a sign takes work. That`s why one church decided to keep it real with its congregation " and honestly, who can blame it?

`Too hot to keep changing sign," the sign reads. "Sin bad, Jesus good, details inside.`

Has the mission of Christ ever been explained with more passion or eloquence?"

Church signs are minimalists masterpieces, less is definitely more when it comes to these signs. A stark contrast to the endless pontificating that takes place inside a church building. I pray to God pastors would restrict themselves to a Twitter-like 142 characters when delivering a sermon.

The sign outside the Grace Baptist Church kept it pithy: Too hot to keep changing sign. Sin bad, Jesus good, details inside.

That`s the Gospel in a nutshell, ministers should keep it concise and preach Jesus and never mind all the other anti-gay, anti-women, and anti-fun nonsense.

Can I get an Amen?
