"Organizers are planning a `Clown Lives Matter` march for October 15 in Tucson in reaction to the recent spate of frightening incidents -- both real and imagined -- spread in the news and on social media.
The march will be at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 15 on 4th Avenue in Tucson. Attendees are invited to show up wearing full clown makeup or masks.
According to a flyer advertising the event, `this is a peaceful way to show clowns are not psycho killers. We want the public to feel safe, and not be afraid. So come out, bring the family, meet a clown and get a hug`"
Anybody who hasn`t been living under a rock for the last couple of months knows that creepy clowns have been terrorizing citizens in just about every village, town and city in America. Many people are convinced that the world will end on Halloween when the much dreaded Clown Apocalypse will arrive and hell will unleash an army of clowns to wreak death and destruction all over the world.
Professional clowns are planning a `Clown Lives Matter` march for October 15 in Tucson in reaction to the recent epidemic of evil clown sightings.
Some folks take exception to the phrase "Black Lives Matter, arguing that it implies that black lives matter more than brown, white or yellow lives. Some minorities are incensed when they hear white people say "All Lives Matter", because they feel that the phrase demonstrates an indifference to the suffering and racial discrimination black people suffer every day of their lives.
But everybody agrees that "Clown Lives Matter" is an abomination and a celebration and justification of evil. If our democracy is to endure we must have zero tolerance for clowns. Indeed clown lives don`t matter, and anyone brazen enough to wear a clown suit in public should be tarred, feathered and boiled alive.
I urge the good citizens of Tucson not to tolerate this abomination, and by any means necessary stop the "Clown Lives Matter" march!
